Hi! I’m Kara Mills. The floral designer behind floraphilia. I have been a professional horticulturist and plant mother for a decade, With experience in many aspects of the industry; from organic vegetable farming, rare plant sales and cultivation, to managing large scale cannabis greenhouse production, I’ve seen it all. I founded floraphilia on a firm belief that botanicals have distinctive powers about them. They have the ability to heal, transform, and enliven spaces and people. My journey in Botany has changed my life, shown me sides of myself that I didn’t even know existed, and connected me with some of the most intriguing people and communities I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. floraphilia is here to share these exquisite organisms and the beauty of the horticultural experience with my community.
